A Lifetime's Dream

For as long as I can remember, I've dreamed of visiting the Galapagos Islands and following in the footsteps of Charles Darwin.  Situated about 1,000 miles off the coast of Ecuador it is of course the place responsible for confirming Darwin's theory of the evolution of species by natural selection.  We came close to visiting a couple of years ago but it wasn't the ideal time of year (which I hope is now).

First we go to Ecuador's capital Quito for 2 nights and then to Coca in the Ecuadorian Amazon for 3, then back to Quito for a night and then a flight to the Galapagos to catch our boat for the 7 night cruise.  Then rather than go back to Quito we fly home from Guayaquil having spent another night there (flights to/from Galapagos can be unpredictable).

Hmmm seems like it's going to be another tiring trip!
